(Click button below)

All Operating Systems This is our Consolidated Documentation Volume in Acrobat Reader (.pdf) format As of May 1, 2006. .  It contains over 1600 pages of the Standard User Guide, On-Line Helps, Application Developers Kit Documentations plus all the WEB site pages describing new features, examples, and more. This is the best way to search everything for specific topics.  It is also the best way to see everything on our WEB site.   This .pdf file is zipped because some browsers will not let you download a .pdf document to a local file, but insists on displaying it (and you can't save it).  So just unzip it after you download it.

wget
Many times browsers take longer to ask for and render the page than it takes the WEB server to service the request!  This makes it appear to take the WEB server longer, but it is the browser that adds much of the overall time to display the page/

wget is a simple Unix program that given a URL, pretends it is a browser, contacts the WEB server, asks for the page, and writes the received contents to disk.  You can measure the exact time it takes the WEB server to service the request.  Then you can measure the browser end-to-end time to see how much time it adds to this time.

Unix A script to fetch an Item from the WEB server/RoAccess/Rochade that runs wget.
Unix wget for Sun Sparc Solaris 5.5.1
Unix wget for HP/UX 9.01
wget source Unix Compiles easily on most Unix platforms

File Types:

  • tar.gz - Unix gzip format. Go into corresponding directory, and untar the files.
  • .EXE - Setup/Install application.  It will ask you for installation directory, and then create the program group.
Note: There is absolutely no difference in the software between Unix or Windows NT/98.  Only the delivery file format (tar.gz for Unix, and .zip for Windows).  The Sample AConfig.pl and ro-access.ini files for Unix have only linefeeds while Windows have carriage return and linefeeds after each line.
