• RoAccess will take you less time for data entry, edit, browsing and reporting tasks than Autopilot because you are presented with ALL the attributes of an Item on each page.  In Autopilot, you typically view or edit only one attribute at a time, not looking at the record in its entirety or the data in relationship to other data.  This is slow, a bit tedious and you don't see all your data together.   However, with RoAccess, you can hyper-link between data Items and move around the Repository more quickly seeing all your data in context.  Your data related tasks will take your users much less time than with Autopilot, which is much easier on your budget, because time is money.
• RoLoader will now make data loading a rather simple procedure, again taking less time and effort.

For each cluster, you can put a RoAccess WEB system on every Windows and Unix workstation/server in your enterprise network and move it around as you desire, accessing any number of Rochade Repository servers in the cluster, worldwide.

All modified or new applications using the supplied Application Development Kit (ADK) may be fielded to any other of your WEB servers or stand-alone/non-WEB execution platforms with no run-time fees.

Many times we can help you more quickly come up to speed or meet difficult deadlines when time is of the essence.

We are available to help you in many ways:

Consulting - this is general analysis, feasibility, design and documentation of possible projects.  We have used Rochade, WEB and other related technologies for a very long time, and are aware of many of their capabilities that are not widely known.

Contract Programming - we can develop stand alone and WEB applications and screens extremely rapidly.   This is because we are extremely familiar with Rochade, Autopilot, Rochade fundamental, WEB technologies and application design and maintenance.   We can probably develop your custom applications in a fraction of the time you might expect.  How does this work:

A Client sends us a functional spec (detailed or very general)

We work to better define what is needed and offer several options on how that might be accomplished and time-to-implement estimates

Customer sends us their Repository

We develop at our office, and allow Customer to run the pages on-line over the Internet to verify operation and request changes

The Client can see each page as it is being developed, so they can monitor the progress in great detail.

We finally ship pages to Customer for their local installation and can train your staff on them

We charge based on the number of hours worked.  But because of our in-depth experience in so many fields, the cost is usually much less that other options available to a Client

Training - there are several types of training:

RoAccess training hits so many different WEB application areas.  So if you are new to WEB applications, we will teach you from the ground up.  People have said RoAccess training is the best course they ever had.

RoAccess Fundamentals: RoAccess philosophy, organization, searching, graphics displays, spreadsheets, custom reports, data entry, standard customization features, and much more.

RoAccess/RoLoader - this usually takes 15 to 30 minutes, so it is usually just bundled in with other training.

Rochade fundamentals - which help you better understand what options and features of Rochade and RoAccess that are available to you.

WEB and standalone application design.  This includes detailed training of how WEB servers work, pass data between screens, HTML syntax, dynamic HTML and debugging of applications.  We can get you started with you custom applications.

We teach your staff a number of needed technologies that are necessary for WEB application development:

HTTP headers - file downloads and naming, re-directs, expirations, setting cookies

HTML - FORMS, Input fields,  Text, Frames, DIVisions

CSS - cascading style sheets

CGI - applications using the industry standard CGI interface

WEB server configurations

PERL - the language, constructs, features and frequently used capabilities

JavaScript - how to add validations and special screen features

We show how to implement large scale document management utilizing Rochade, and how to integrate this into existing non-Rochade applications.

We recommend 5 days of training because to many different WEB related topics are covered.  The first three days are the "basics" while the last two days are spent helping you to create your own advanced custom applications and addressing other topics that are of importance to you.

Its output can be e-mailed to us for a complete analysis of your environment and why the problem occurred. This can solve questions the occur only on your machine, the most difficult to diagnose. This facility allows us to answer complicated or site specific questions usually within the same day.
